Visual Music

Emad Dabiri

An intensive workshop introducing participants to a "visual music" approach to audio/video editing. Participants will be shown how to weave and arrange intricate and highly sequenced rhythmic structures using only tiny samples from self-shot or found audio / video. An introduction to the history behind this underground cut-up style will be followed with a detailed and intensive tutorial on how to achieve a unique "what you see is what you hear" rhythmic and visual music effect.
